A Congressional luncheon was hosted by the BrightFocus foundation. The luncheon was well received and attended by multiple Congressional leaders, researchers, medical doctors, scientists, educators, and Congressional aides and advisors. Senator Warnock’s aide, Gabriella Vesey visited the luncheon to deliver a letter from the senator with his best wishes for Dr. Tann’s national impact advocacy award. Dr. Tann was accompanied by a seasoned panelist by which the discussion hinged on health disparities as it relates to Alzheimer’s and related dementias.
